Top Class Bagpipe Tuition
I have been a tutoring at the highly regarded RNZPBA Summer School in Christchurch since 2009, am lead pipe tutor for the Central North Island Youth Band and a Piping Director for the National Youth Pipe Band of New Zealand. In addition I have tutored at the world renowned Piping Hot Summer Drummer School in Canada whilst a member of the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band.
I am involved locally with the Wellington Hawkes Bay Centre education program, and of course, with teaching privately, face to face and via Skype with students across New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the USA.
One on One Lessons
This can be one on one in my home, or online via Skype, Zoom or the Messenger App.
Online lessons are exceptionally productive and of course you can receive tuition directly to you wherever you are, and all are individually tailored for you.
In all cases you receive all materials from me (exercises, tunes, videos, recordings) plus follow up emails to each lesson. Spaces are limited but please feel free to enquire.
Band Sessions
I also offer a variety of Group / Pipe Band sessions and workshops, offering wide ranging assistance with Medley Construction, Ensemble, MSR playing, Technique, Sound set up and more.
Whether you are an absolute beginner, are wanting assistance with your solo material as you move through the grades, or just wanting to improve your playing, please get in touch.
